Director, Strategic Consulting - Singapore

Experience: 6+ years relevant management consulting and/or industry experience
ROLE SUMMARY
The Director, Strategic Consulting will directly manage location strategy efforts for the Asia Pacific region. This associate will be client facing and a key member of the firm’s global practice providing in-depth research, document development, correspondence, financial analyses and other activities directly related with labor analytics, site selection and public incentive capture process. This role will discover, manage and analyse data from a variety of different sources and disciplines, including primary research, when required. We are looking for a Managing Consultant with strong technical skills who can take responsibility for managing projects and client relationships on a day-to-day basis.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree plus 6+ years of relevant management consulting and/or industry experience in location & talent strategy, site selection, and incentives negotiation, facilitation & compliance
Preference to hold MBA or other advance degree (Master’s or PhD) with a focus on real estate
Additional experience in business development, client relationship management, corporate real estate and economic development
Global location and site benchmarking
Country market entry strategy
Talent market benchmarking and evaluations
Location operating conditions screening
Country comparative risk comparisons
Developing decision frameworks to inform facility deployment
Variable operating cost modeling and business case development
Land, building, business park, and investment zone due diligence and validation
Utility and transportation infrastructure evaluations
Government incentives and real estate negotiations
SKILLS & ABILITIESStrong organisational, analytical and communication skills
Excellent written, verbal, oral and presentation skills
Proven ability to manage project delivery teams, and work independently
Strong oral and written (story boarding) communication skills
Experience dealing with large, complex multi-variable problems
Eagerness to mentor and counsel junior staff
A willingness to travel on a global scale
English plus other language fluency
Data visualization skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
Solid value and ethical approach with the capacity to handle proprietary and confidential information
Aptitude to learn unfamiliar concepts and topics quickly
